Letterboxing in the news

I came across a couple of new newspaper articles that mention letterboxing.
I don't believe that any of these have appeared on the list yet.

"Letterboxes part of summer reading fun at library," Norwich (CT) Bulletin,
July 5, 2003, mentions Ellen ("Schubass") and discusses the library's
letterboxing program:

An article from the San Francisco Chronicle on July 11, 2003, about
geocaching, had this to say:
"Geocaching is a descendant of letterboxing, a similar game -- minus the
satellite technology -- that originated in England in the mid-1800s. It is
still played there and, to a lesser degree, in the United States."

Another summer reading program featuring letterboxing is mentioned in the
The Oneida (NY) Dispatch on July 1, 2003, "Creatures draw crowd to library
event."

Thanks! I enjoyed reading the S.F.Bay area article and the info on
the cleaver containers: Pink Floyd's brick, real-looking plastic tree
branch, and a cow pie. Maybe it is time for me to add to my Meyers
Ranch series, it could use an extra cow pie.:)
